Inspired Sympathy Cards

 I needed a sympathy card for dear friends that recently lost their beloved dog, Cocoa.  He went everywhere with them and was like their child. I know the pain they are going through. Cocoa will be missed!

 I  made a couple of these.  I used SU Inspired by Nature stamped in Chocolate Chip.  The rest of the card is sponged ala Zindorf style in  SU Summer Sun, Pumpkin Pie, Really Rust and Chocolate Chip and used co- ordinating cardstocks.. The one above is left plain of the right side so I can add another image as needed. I stamped the one below with a dog from SU "D" is for Dog set.  I tried stamping over the top of the sponged cardstock as well as embossing.  Brads and punches are also Stampin' Up.

Owl Always Love you part two

Just thought I'd make another Owl card while I had the supplies out.

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black & SU Really Red & White sponged 

Colored with: Copics

Cardstock: SU Kraft

Patterend papper: cleaning out my stash and about 10 years old, yikes!

Accessories: Nesties, SU ribbon, sponge, heart punch, button from my stash & linen thread.

Owl Always Love You!

Owl always love stamping, animals and my hubby!  This card uses a SC sketch challenge, the owls are from Stamping Bella, the sentiment uses a Just Rite Stampers monogram set and the patterened paper is about 10 years old, cleaning out my really old stash and using it or giving it away.  I'm not really into the country or shabby look so I struggled with this card.  I also wanted to use kraft cardstock.

  Once I pulled out the patterened paper I remembered that I had a glass button that would match perfectly.  I'm really bad about hoarding, so it is good to dig into my stash and use some things. Verve Valentine

This card is one that I will giving to my wonderful hubby for Valentine's Day!  The Winne The Pooh saying from Verve is one of my favorites!  This card uses a sketch challenge from Verve.  This is more paper crafting than stamping as the only stamp on the card is the sentiment.  I used Spellbinder Label Nesties and Corner Flourishes, patterned paper from Basic Gray, solid colors are SU Chocolate Chip and Cranberry Crisp, self adhesive rhinestones, SU Cranberry Crisp stiched grosgrain ribbon, paper piercing tool, heart punches and the layers are pop up to add demension.
