Kitty Pezz's Christmas card to Daddy

The kitties all gave Daddy special cat Christmas cards this year. I thought it was time to introduce my girls to everyone! This is our oldest kitty, Pezz. She was a ferral kitty that hubby found near the office when she was only a few weeks old. She was very tiny, but a fighter. She has the biggest personality and is fearless. She also does not act like a cat. Her first year, she was raised with our dog, a potbellied pig and a racoon. It wasn't until she was over a year old, she actually ever met another cat. She's a pretty lazy cat and a big daddy's girl!

Her card uses an image from a Clear Dollar Stamps set called Meowy Christmas. It has 3 different cat images so it was perfect for me as I have 3 cats. The cat in the stocking is perfect for Pezz becasue she loves to get into everything. Any bag, box, purse, drawer or etc. that she can squeeze into, she does! This particular image is so Pezz! This is first time that I had ordered from CDS and it was the week of Christmas, they got the order to me the same week the day before! WOW, I was really impressed. I also really love their stamps, especially all of the Patchpal Animals.

Thanks so much for looking!

This is my Christmas card for 2009. I love non traditional colors on holiday cards. This year I knew I wanted to use black & white and a damask print. SU came out with this adorable single stamp, Dasher and I knew I had to use it. I used Sketch Challenge 244 from Splitcoast stampers for the layout. Thank for looking.

Summer time is such a busy time I've been remiss updating my blog. I hatve to admit, these are cards that I stamped a while back. DH and I have spent every weekend the past few months fixing up a house, painting and laying tiles, you name it. It has left little time to stamp.
Here are 2 versions of the same card that I submitted to Inkadinkado to use in their gallery. Very clean and simple cards. I used blue for the dog image as I had a boy dog and pink for the cat as I have girl kitties. Love the ribbon that I got from Hobby Lobby for 1/2 off. Just wished I had gotten more as I am such a ribbon hoarder, I hate to use it unless I know that I can get more.

Stamps: Inkadinkado clear sets Dogs & Cattitude
Ink: SU Pixie Pink & Tempting Turquoise
Cardstock: SU Pixie Pink, Tempting Turquoise, Basic Black & Whisper White
Accessories: Oval & Scallop Oval Nestibilities and paw print ribbon from Hobby Lobby
Thank you for stopping by and have a blessed day.

Here are my Splitcoaststamper Challenges for this week. I used SC237, CC227 and WRAK image. The image is by Rachelle Ann Miller call Peek A Bunny and was a Wish image I received from amykuc (thanks Amy!) The cardstock is Whisper White, Basic Black, Almost Amethyst and Barely Bannana - all from Stampin' Up! I used Copic markers to color in the images, Cutterbug Swirl embossing folder, SU brads, Prima flowers and vintage buttons from my stash.
It was nice to have a challenge to help with the sketch or layout and then the colors. I also know that I wanted to use my most recent RAK. I tragically lost my best friend and 4 legged child last week and have not had any mojo or desire to create, so the challenges really helped me to at least get back into the studio.
Have a blessed day and thank you for looking.

I had just gotten the JustRite stamps and wanted to play around with them so I came up with the simple yet elegant card. I needed a 15th wedding anniversary card for DH and decided to use the silver background for it. We celebrate our anniversary on the 10th.

Lockhart Vintage Chair Birthday card

This card I made for my husband's birthday. I love this Lockhart chair image, it reminds me of the chairs my Grandmother had when I was growing up. Her favorite color was turquoise so that is the color I used. The image is Lockhart colored with Copics, the cardstock, punches and brads are Stampin' Up! Have a wonderful day and thanks for stoping by.

Montreal

I'm back from Montreal. I was attending a Global Paging Conference and had a lovely time. I enjoyed spending time catching up with friends I have made over the years and getting to make new ones, especially those from the UK and Australia, as I only have the chance to see them once a year. I love their beautiful accents and miss them already! Montreals 70 degree weather was such a nice break from the 95 - 100 degree weather here. We stayed downtown and had amazing meals and much too much wine! It was a productive and enjoyable trip, but I am glad to be home. I just miss Cody, Piper and Pezz my fur babies too much when I go away. Here are a few pictures.
